Problem Areas-
River water pollution is a global problem and not peculiar to India. However, rising pollution of rivers in India is a significant concern for the Indian government and population. India is home to about 20 major river basins. Unfortunately, most rivers and river basins in India are victims of pollution.
Industrialization along the river belt is polluting the water with chemicals and other industrial effluents. While large corporations adopt advanced techniques to treat effluents and chemicals to negate or reduce their toxicity, smaller firms often have no such considerations and violate environmental safety standards.
High population density around the river banks and the reckless dumping of non-biodegradable waste, especially plastics, is further adding to water pollution. Despite warning and strict fines imposed by local administrations on those found dumping garbage into rivers and their estuaries, this uncivilized practice continues unabated.
Laundering clothes on river banks is a common sight in India. Modern detergents are made of chemicals that contaminate river waters. Defecating around river banks is yet another horrible practice in rural parts of the country that contributes to rising pollution of rivers in India. The situation is worsened by local administrations and private operators of sewage collection tankers dumping the waste in rivers and their estuaries.
Our Technology
Aquaritin Wastewater is an advanced Nanoscale liquid formulation which combines a balanced mix of 13 nutrients in a single formulation bioavailable exclusively for the native diatoms in your water bodies, the particle size is between 1 and 50 nm and each nutrient is adsorbed on to nano-silica molecule preventing them from bonding with each other, with water, or the atmosphere. Since diatoms are always looking for silicon, the nano nutrients are exclusively consumed by diatoms which lead to immediate and exponential growth in their population, rapidly consuming the nutrients that would have otherwise gone towards algae growth. As diatoms grow and photosynthesize, they sequester carbon and release oxygen into the water, thereby increasing the dissolved oxygen. It can also be used in drains, STPs and ETPs.
Problem Areas-
The main parameters in sewage that are measured to assess the sewage strength or quality as well as treatment options include: solids, indicators of organic matter, nitrogen, phosphorus, and indicators of fecal contamination. These can be considered to be the main macro-pollutants in sewage. In order to quantify the organic matter, indirect methods that are commonly used are the Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) and the Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD).
Our Technology
Aquaritin WasteWater Plus is a Nano-nutrient mixture with particle size 30 nm or less. It promotes sustained growth and multiplication of diatom algae in waste water even in low light conditions. Photosynthesis of diatoms release pure oxygen at molecular scale while consuming nitrates, phosphates and other nutrients found both in waste water column and water bed This rapidly transforms the water environment to aerobic condition resulting in multiple benefits. It can be used in drains, rivers, canals, in highly polluted water bodies, Sewage Treatment Plants and Effluent Treatment Plants.
